The Building Officials Institute of New Zealand celebrated Building Safety Week and recommended ratepayers who received their Code Compliance Certificate during the week be given their very own Bob, the Building Officials Bear. | Helena, Montana, water customers found a copy of “Building Codes – How They Help You” when they opened their May water bills. The Building Division of the Community Development Department reached out to Helena's 10,800 residential and commercial accounts to promote the need for plans and permits before starting a project. The Building Safety Week campaign tied in with a City Commission proclamation, a broadcast on the local governmental television channel and a public service announcement article in the local Sunday paper. | |
