Edward Wirtschoreck is the Director of Code Development for the International Code Council. He is responsible for management of the Code Council’s codes development activities.

Prior to his position as the Director of Code Development, Wirtschoreck held other positions with ICC, including the Manager of Standards and the Regional Manager for the Central District Office of the International Code Council Evaluation Service, Inc. (ICC-ES). Wirtschoreck is an Illinois licensed Architect.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
