New option for showcasing your membership

The landscape for showcasing your membership is changing. The Code Council is excited to begin providing digital badges that recognize your Code Council membership and it can be shared easily on many different platforms from your social media channels to professional networks. We started the digital badge offering in 2020 with the initial rollout of certification digital badges. This rollout was so popular with our certificants, we are expanding the program to include badges that show your ICC membership.

New to digital badges? Badges are verifiable, shareable and portable. They are a graphic that digitally links to a description of Code Council membership. A digital badge can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection. Sharing your badge allows employers and peers to click on your badge and immediately see that your membership is issued by the Code Council and is valid. Let everyone know that you are dedicated to the building safety industry by showcasing your Code Council membership on social media, your email signature — any digital platform that connects you to your professional network.

We began offering the membership badge the week of April 5, 2021, and all current members will have access to their badge no later than April 16, 2021. You can access your badge by visiting your MyICC account any time and looking under your membership tab. Once there, you will click on your badge and be able to directly share or download your badge. If this is the first digital badge you have received from the Code Council you will receive an email from Badgr — the digital badge platform — when your badge becomes available.
