2008 Annual Conference Wrap-Up

Golfers Get into the Swing

The team of Jim Sherman (Gardner, Kan.), Travis Torrez (Gardner, Kan.), Mick Kaehler (Ramsey, Minn.) and Dorothy Kaehler (Princeton, Minn.) shot a seven under par 65 to win the Annual Golf Tournament held at the scenic Majestic Oaks Golf Club.

Finishing second with a score of 66 was the foursome of Nick Carver (Minneapolis, Minn.), David Swan (Maplewood, Minn.), John Caraher (Glendale Heights, Ill.) and Edward Ciechanowski (Oak Creek, Wis.).

One stroke back in third place was the team of Jim Gustafson (Minneapolis, Minn.), Joe Miller (Minneapolis, Minn.), Bob Meza (Minneapolis, Minn.) and Thomas Phillips (Minneapolis, Minnesota).

Sheila Lee (Santa Clara, Calif.) won the Women’s Longest Drive competition; Pete Wilt (Clovis, N.M.) was the men’s winner. Bryan Hampson (Bothell, Wash.) won the Men’s Closest to the Pin contest.

More than 100 golfers teed off in this year’s event.
