Motoring in Minneapolis

Biker guys and gals turned out in droves for the 5th Annual Bob Fowler Motorcycle Ride honoring the late building official and motorcycling enthusiast. Riders and passengers joined ICC Region III members on Saturday’s 200-mile “Run to Slippery’s” in Wabasha, Minn. Points of interest included the Mississippi River Valley; Buena Vista Park in Alma, Wis.; and lunch at Slippery’s Bar and Grill where parts of the movie Grumpy Old Men were filmed.

Sunday’s events began with the Fowler Foundation’s “Buy A Ride” Challenge/Parade that toured Minneapolis/St. Paul areas of interest. After the parade, the bikers enjoyed a short ride to Taylors Falls for lunch at the “Frosty Top.”
