Guide Highlights International Residential Code Requirements in Construction Sequence
A new reference guide presents International Residential Code (IRC) basics and highlights the most important provisions in easily understood terms. An illustrated format makes the International Code Council and Delmar, Cengage Learning joint publication easy to read and understand.
Building and fire department personnel, inspectors, architects, engineers, builders, contractors and construction technology students will better understand the code with the support of Building Code Basics: Residential, Based on the 2006 International Residential Code. It is the first in a series of guides about I-Code basics.

A certified building official and plans examiner, Van Note also holds certifications in five other categories.
