2022 Building Safety Month Proclamations
Each year, governors, mayors, county executives and other officials sign proclamations, official statements and letters of recognition to celebrate Building Safety Month. The International Code Council encourages you to submit a proclamation for your own community.

How to Submit Your Proclamation
Proclamations for United States & U.S. Territories
If you are a chapter, jurisdiction or other entity from the United States or a U.S. territory, you can simply click below, fill out the pertinent information needed on our online form, upload your chapter logo or seal, and a downloadable digital copy of your proclamation will be submitted. If you would like to submit a proclamation with your own wording, you can fill out this document and upload it directly to our website by completing the same form and clicking “Upload or Generate a Proclamation.” We invite you to also upload a high resolution photo of your signing ceremony under the header “Ceremony Image” in the form.
Proclamations for Countries Worldwide
If you are a jurisdiction or other entity from outside the United States/U.S. territories, you can click “submit a Worldwide proclamation” below which will download a fillable Word document. Please fill out this document or use the language to create your own proclamation, and send your document to communications@iccsafe.org.
