Schedule Now Available for the 2024 Committee Action Hearings for Group A Codes
The Code Council has published the hearing schedule for the 2024 CAH #1 for Group A codes. The hearings will occur April 7-16, 2024.
The International Codes® (I-Codes) — developed by the International Code Council — are a family of 15 coordinated, modern building safety codes used throughout the world that protect against disasters like fires, weather-related events and structural collapse.
The Long Term Code Development Process Committee suggested changes to enhance the code development process. The changes are now in effect for the development of the 2027 I-Codes.
The new process will include two Committee Action Hearings (CAH), one in the Spring and one in the Fall, and will have the same Code Development Committee presiding over both hearings.
