Code Council Board of Directors Appoints the 2027 International Energy Conservation Code Consensus Committee Members
The first public meeting of the Commercial Consensus Committee will be held on Wednesday, December 18 and the first public meeting of the Residential Consensus Committee will be held on Tuesday, December 17.
The International Code Council Board of Directors has appointed the members that will serve on the consensus committees for the development of the 2027 International Energy Conservation Code® (IECC). The Commercial Committee will have 39 members and will be chaired by Duane Jonlin from the City of Seattle, Washington. The Residential Committee will seat 36 members and be chaired by Shane Hoeper from the City of Dubuque, Iowa. Rosters for both committees can be found on the committee webpage at the following link.
For this cycle, all meetings of the committees will be held virtually. The first public meeting of the Commercial Consensus Committee will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm Eastern. The first public meeting of the Residential Consensus Committee will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 2:00 pm Eastern. Following these initial meetings, it is anticipated that applications for interested parties to serve as voting members on the various IECC Residential and Commercial subcommittees will open on December 20th and close on January 3rd at 11:59 pm Pacific.
