Robert Neale is the principal of Integra Code Consultants, located in the Washington, D.C., metro area. He is an experienced life safety and fire protection consultant with expertise in commercial and multi-family residential code consulting, plan review, inspections, construction fire safety planning, due diligence reports, training and related services. He formerly served as the vice president of national fire service activities for the International Code Council, where he was responsible for strategic guidance to help local fire organizations adopt and enforce the most recent version of the model codes and build relationships among code enforcement entities. In 2015, Neale retired as Deputy Superintendent for the United States Fire Administration National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland, where he led the development of curriculum aimed at improving the professionalism of America’s fire service.
