Sandra Hyde, P.E., is managing director of the International Code Council's Product Development Group where she develops books and seminars about the structural provisions of the International Building Code, International Residential Code, International Existing Building Code and structural topics. She has authored the Special Inspection Manual, co-authored the Significant Changes to the IBC and IRC series, and created seminars for each of these books as well as other structural topics.
