Fan-efficiency provisions in model energy codes and standards
Some important changes related to fans have been made or are coming to model energy codes and standards. Among them: a new fan-efficiency metric, new requirements for reporting ceiling-fan power, updated requirements for fan-motor selection, and an alternative to the requirement for a vestibule in some climate zones and buildings.
