Benchmark analysis of resilience evaluation methodologies and case studies of exemplary adaptation actions: the work of the Global ABC Adaptation Working Group
The International Code Council invites its members and stakeholders to learn more during the GlobalABC Adaptation Working Group’s free webinar.
The Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC) is an international organization that promotes adaptation and resilience in the built environment. The International Code Council is an active member of GlobalABC and serves as a co-chair of the Adaptation Working Group, which focuses specifically on the resilience of the building sector to climate change on a global scale.
Ahead of the COP27, the Adaptation Working Group has produced two major pieces of work: (i) a panorama of resilience assessment methodologies for the buildings and construction sector, and (ii) a collection of exemplary case studies of innovative and reproducible adaptation actions that build upon previous work by this working group.
This document seeks to address the questions:
- What trends are emerging in terms of risk evaluation globally?
- Are all risks equally assessed?
- What are the relevant indicators?
- How to act quickly and decisively to answer the ever-changing challenges of adaptation to climate change?
The International Code Council invites its members and stakeholders to learn more during the GlobalABC Adaptation Working Group’s free webinar on November 4, 2022, at 1 pm CET (7 am ET).
