ICC voting members elect 2017–2018 board officers, directors
International Code Council voting members elected Board officers and directors during the association’s Annual Business Meeting at the 2017 Annual Conference in Columbus, Ohio. Jay Elbettar, P.E., CBO, building official, city of Mission Viejo, Calif., was elected President of the ICC board. Bill Bryant, MCP, CBO, assistant director of the Inspections and Permits Department of Anne Arundel County, Md., was elected Vice President, and Greg Wheeler, chief building official, city of Thornton, Colo., was elected Secretary/Treasurer. Voting members also elected representatives to sectional and at-large positions on the board.
Stuart Tom, building official, Yorba Linda, Calif., and David “Kris” Bridges, building official, city of Martinsville, Va., were elected to positions as sectional directors. Mike Boso, chief building and zoning official, city of Grove City, Ohio, and David Spencer, building official, city of North Bend, Wash., were elected to the board. Jeff Bechtold, senior building official, Kenton County, Ky., and Donny Phipps, CBO, CFM, director of building codes and inspections, Richland County, S.C., were re-elected to the board.
