ICC welcomes Kelly Sadler to Government Relations Team
Sadler to lead legislative outreach in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas

AUSTIN, TEXAS – The International Code Council (ICC) named Kelly D. Sadler, J.D., as its new Government Relations Regional Manager for Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. Sadler brings 16 years of legislative and private-sector industry experience to serve ICC’s jurisdictions, members and chapters.

Previously, Sadler served as a lobbyist and government relations manager for the Texas Masonry Council and managed the Office of Employer Initiatives for the Texas Workforce Commission where she oversaw multimillion-dollar strategic planning, workforce and legislative initiatives. In addition, she served as a budget, planning and policy advisor to former Texas Governor Rick Perry where she handled fiscal and legislative issues and acted as a liaison for state agencies. Additionally, Sadler worked as a briefing attorney to the Honorable Paul Green in the Fourth District Court of Appeals and authored civil and criminal appellate opinions for 32 Texas counties.

“We are very fortunate to have someone with Kelly’s experience working to advance ICC’s state and local priorities in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas,” said Code Council Chief Executive Officer Dominic Sims, CBO. “Her deep knowledge of the region and established relationships with key lawmakers will be a valuable addition to our team.”

A fifth-generation Texan, Sadler graduated cum laude with a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law.
