In 2011, VPMIA received the Code Council Chapter of the Year Award during the Code Council’s Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona for its commitment to advancing the Code Council’s mission.
The chapter continues to boast a growing membership in most every jurisdiction in Virginia, welcoming members who are extremely active in the code development process.
For those who are also interested in getting involved in the code development process, the Code Council is currently seeking volunteers for the 2024-2026 Cycle Committees to help support the development of the 2027 International Codes (I-Codes).
