On May 20, 2024, the Center for Hydrogen Safety will be hosting an insightful Hydrogen Safety Training Day in Las Vegas, NV. This training day is designed to provide attendees with the essential safety skills needed to navigate the dynamic hydrogen market. The courses will be eligible for International Code Council Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
The Hydrogen Safety Training Day will feature three educational courses:
- Gaseous Hydrogen: Safety Considerations: 0.2 CEUs offered
- Learn about the unique properties of hydrogen, along with its hazards and crucial safety considerations. Acquire safety and design strategies that can be immediately applied to real-world scenarios
- Vent System Designs: 0.2 CEUs offered
- Explore the vital design considerations for hydrogen vent systems
- NFPA 2 Hydrogen Technologies Code Training: 0.4 CEUs offered
- Designed to empower professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in applying the NFPA 2 Hydrogen Technologies Code
This training day will be held prior to the Center for Hydrogen Safety’s Americas Conference from May 21-May 23, 2024. This conference brings together attendees from academia, industry and the government to discuss applied hydrogen safety topics and provide space for collaboration.
