Preliminary 2022 Group B Online Governmental Consensus Vote Results Available
The next step in the code development process is to have multiple third-party auditors validate our processes.
The 2022 Group B Online Governmental Consensus Vote was conducted from October 17 through November 1, 2022. The preliminary results have been posted here; however, they are preliminary because the code cycle is not yet complete. The next step is to have multiple third-party auditors validate our processes for this cycle. The results of those audits are then presented to our Board of Directors. This is in accordance with Section 10.1 of CP 28 Code Development.
Once the results are presented and assuming no issues are found, the 2022 Group B Final Action results will be officially posted to our website. This will include the voting tally on specific code change proposals.
Currently, we are expecting these results to be available at the end of January 2023.
The finalized 2024 I-Codes, including the 2024 International Building Code, are scheduled to be published in October 2023.
