Share Your Expertise: Participate in GlobalABC’s Survey on Building Resiliency
GlobalABC has issued a survey to coordinate the expertise and resources of key stakeholders within the building industry to help develop innovative solutions dedicated to resilience and adaptation.
The Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC) has issued a survey to coordinate the expertise and resources of key stakeholders within the building industry to help develop innovative solutions dedicated to resilience and adaptation.
GlobalABC will be producing a study this year that will report on the efforts and measurable results of climate change adaptation efforts among all stakeholders. The aim is to share existing tools and information with governments and other entities working towards climate change adaptation to enable increased participation in measurable adaptation efforts.
To help with the production of the report, they have developed discrete surveys for each of the following categories of stakeholders:
- National and Sub-national Governments (including building departments)
- Architects, Engineers, Manufacturers, Suppliers, Laborers and Installers (including designers, manufacturers, and practitioners)
- Financial institutions
- Civil society, including building owners and occupants
- Other groups not easily categorized above
Learn more and take the survey most appropriate to your role/discipline, here. The survey deadline is June 12.
Questions can also be addressed to Judy Zakreski (jzakreski@iccsafe.org), International Code Council Senior VP, Global Operations & Solutions, who serves as the co-chair of the GlobalABC Adaptation Working Group.
