The International Code Council has released a new certification exam tool that will make taking Code Council certifications more convenient for those looking to further their careers in the building industry. ICC Digital Codes for Exams integrates the International Codes® (I-codes) directly into an online exam experience.
Certifications Offered Through the Code Council
“Earning a Code Council certification is a significant personal and professional accomplishment, and is a key step toward advancing your career,” said Autumn Saylor, Director of ICC Credentialing. “This new exam tool further enhances our certification opportunities to create a better user experience for industry professionals.”
The Code Council’s certification exams are offered for specific trades such as Certified Building Official, Fire, Code Enforcement, Green Building and Residential Inspector.
There are currently over 100 exams offered through the Code Council’s Proctored Remote Online Testing Option (PRONTO). These examinations are available 24/7, can be scheduled up to 90 minutes in advance and utilize advanced exam security features.
ICC Digital Codes for Exams will be available on all PRONTO exams where Digital Codes references are available. Additionally, every exam taker can preview the ICC Digital Codes Exams experience in PRONTO ahead of time, so they can know what to expect before taking the certification exam.
