The International Code Council is the leading global source of model codes and standards that are used to ensure safe communities and buildings worldwide. The Code Council’s system for developing model codes and standards is based on trust and transparency and has provided the highest level of safety in communities around the world.
The International Codes® (I-Codes), developed by the Code Council, are a family of fifteen coordinated, modern building safety codes that help ensure the design of safe, sustainable, affordable and resilient structures.
Code Council Standards are developed to address building industry challenges regarding code compliance. These standards are developed to ensure products, services and systems are safe, reliable and consistently perform the way they are intended to.
