ICC-ES Vice President of ES-PMG Standards, Maribel Campos, Becomes New Chair of the ASME A112 Standards Committee on Plumbing Materials and Equipment
The ASME A112 Plumbing Materials and Equipment Committee is a key group focusing on developing and maintaining standards for plumbing products and equipment.
Maribel Campos, Vice President of ES-PMG Standards for ICC Evaluation Services (ICC-ES), a member of the International Code Council family of solutions, was recently elected as the new chair of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) A112 Standards Committee on Plumbing Materials and Equipment.
As chair, Campos will collaborate with engineers, manufacturers, regulators and other industry professionals. She will oversee the committee that develops and maintains plumbing-related standards for fixtures, fittings, valves, and various drain-waste-vent system (DWV) equipment and components, including grease interceptors, drains, cleanouts, and waste fittings, among many other products. Her industry expertise and background with ICC-ES will provide invaluable contributions to the committee’s efforts.
