New member benefits and member categories are here

On July 1, 2021, ICC Membership introduced invigorating updates the Membership categories and benefits.

Among these updates include a streamlined membership category selection. We have consolidated the Building Safety Professional and Certified Member categories into one; now being referred to as the Building Safety Professional Category. The Associate, Retired and Participating Memberships will roll up into one membership category; the Participating Member. Government, Corporate, and Student Memberships will remain the same. Those who currently hold a membership category that no longer exists will be moved into the consolidated category upon their next renewal or they can select another category at that time.

The member benefit of digital codes was added in July in support of the Code Council’s digital transformation. This new benefit will assist our members in achieving their own digital transformations as well. New and renewing Government, Corporate and Building Safety Professional members will receive a set of 14 digital I-Codes in the latest edition. Student members will receive 1 free current edition digital I-Code of their choice. Subscriptions for the digital codes will remain with the member for the life of their membership. The convenience of digital codes is leading many members to become Digital Codes Premium subscribers where they unlock even more features and titles with up to a $200 member savings. We would also like to remind members of the Digital Badge we began offering earlier this year. Members have began sharing and displaying their membership in this innovative way. Much like a traditional physical badge, the digital badge is used as a display to validate your membership and engage conversation among peers and employers.
