Update on the 2024 IECC Appeals Process
In accordance with Council Policy 1, the Code Council has received nine appeals on the 2024 International Energy Conservation Code.
In accordance with Council Policy 1, the International Code Council has received nine appeals on the 2024 International Energy Conservation Code® (IECC). Accordingly, a four-person Appeals Board has been appointed to closely examine each of the submitted appeals and provide a report and recommendation to the Code Council Board of Directors.
Interested parties, or their representatives, are invited to respond to the appeals by submitting views in writing for consideration by the Appeals Board. They may request to participate in and present information at the Appeals Board hearings, subject to the discretion of the Appeals Board. Interested parties not wishing to present can watch the appeals hearings live online without registering.
