Code Council Voting Members Elect 2024–2025 Board Officers and Directors
Three senior officers were elected to the executive committee and seven directors (three sectional and four at-large) were elected or re-elected to serve on the board by eligible Code Council voting members.
Members of the International Code Council welcomed a new slate of officers and directors to its 2024–2025 Board of Directors on Oct. 21, 2024, at the Code Council’s 2024 Annual Conference in Long Beach, CA.
Three senior officers were elected to the executive committee and seven directors (three sectional and four at-large) were elected or re-elected to serve on the board by eligible Code Council voting members.
The newly elected executive committee includes:
President: David Spencer
Vice President: Mike Boso
Secretary/Treasurer: Steve McDaniel
Newly elected and re-elected board members include:
Section A Director (three-year term): Randy Metz (Section A includes Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada and Hawaii)
Section E Director (three-year term): Ben Breadmore (Section E includes Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland)
Section F Director (two-year term): JC Hudgison (Section F includes Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and the Caribbean)
Director At-Large (three-year term): Christina Jackson
Director At-Large (three-year term): Jim Sayers
Director At-Large (three-year term): Sam Palmer
Director At-Large (two-year term): Sean Toomey
About the Code Council Board of Directors
The board is comprised of four officers, eight at-large directors and six sectional directors. The board sets the strategic direction for the organization while adhering to its stated mission of building safety.
To carry out this charge, the board meets multiple times a year across the country to address high-level organizational matters, ensure adequate financial and program resources, and oversee and evaluate the chief executive officer.
