S.K. Ghosh Associates Welcomes Dr. Jared Brewe as New Vice President
In his role, Dr. Brewe will serve as a technical consultant on structural codes and standards, providing expertise to agencies involved in the design and construction of buildings and infrastructure.
S. K. Ghosh Associates (SKGA), part of the International Code Council family of solutions, recently announced the appointment of Dr. Jared Brewe, P.E., S.E. as its new Vice President. In his role, Dr. Brewe will serve as a technical consultant on structural codes and standards, providing expertise to agencies involved in the design and construction of buildings and infrastructure.
Dr. Brewe brings a wealth of experience to SKGA, joining the company after serving as Vice President of Technical Activities at the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI). During his tenure at PCI, Dr. Brewe managed the organization’s research and development program and played a key role in advancing the institute’s body of knowledge. Prior to PCI, Dr. Brewe worked as a consulting engineer with Simpson Gumpertz & Heger and CTLGroup, where he focused on forensic investigations and structural evaluation and rehabilitation.
A highly respected member of the structural engineering community, Dr. Brewe is actively involved in several technical committees, including the American Concrete Institute (ACI), ASTM International, the American Welding Society (AWS), the Building Seismic Safety Council (BSSC) and the Structural Engineering Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers (SEI). His diverse professional background and committee work reflect his commitment to advancing the field of structural engineering.

In addition to his professional experience, Dr. Brewe holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Doctorate in Civil Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri. He is a licensed professional engineer in several states and a licensed structural engineer in Illinois.
