Code Council Seeks Nominations for Awards
If you know an exemplary individual or group whose contributions to building safety, code enforcement, public service, community service or fire prevention are commendable, nominate them for an International Code Council award.
Nominations will be accepted until June 15 for awards to be presented at the 2010 ICC Annual Conference, Oct. 25–27, in Charlotte (N.C.). The awards will be presented at the Awards Luncheon on Oct. 27, and honor individuals and organizations for accomplishments and service to the Code Council and the building safety industry.

The International Code Council, a membership association dedicated to building safety, fire prevention and energy efficiency, develops the codes used to construct residential and commercial buildings, including homes and schools. Most U.S. cities, counties and states choose the International Codes, building safety codes developed by the International Code Council. The International Codes also serve as the basis for construction of federal properties around the world, and as a reference for many nations outside the United States.
