Lawrence Novak has more than 30 years of experience as a team leader in codes and standards development, association endeavors, and engineering projects such as sustainable high-rises and special use structures. Prior to joining the Code Council, Lawrence was the Senior Director of Structural Engineering & Codes for the Portland Cement Association. He holds Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois.
