The webinar will cover the design of post-tensioned diaphragms highlighting the benefits of precompression to reduce or eliminate additional drag and chord reinforcement. The webinar will also discuss how concrete diaphragms should be modeled and how a traditional steel or wood diaphragm approach does not apply to a concrete membrane. Construction photographs and details will be shown to clarify the design intent.
