New partnership will create a national database of volunteers for post-disaster response
The International Code Council and the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA) are joining forces to create a single national database of volunteers willing to assist jurisdictions with building damage assessments and inspections in the aftermath of a disaster. This interactive online database combines information from the Code Council's Disaster Response Network and NCSEA's Second Responder Roster. The two organizations created a disaster response oversight committee consisting of members, staff and Board members to finalize the details for the joint website and volunteer database. Stay tuned for more details.
